Come in. Take a breath.
You’re safe here.

This is more than a service—it’s a return to yourself.

A moment of stillness.
A reconnection.

Let’s meet soul to soul.

I’m Jamie—your practitioner, guide, and witness in transformation.

“Healing is an art.
It takes time, it takes practice.
It takes love.”

— Maza Dohta

I’m a holistic hairstylist, makeup artist, certified somatic breathwork facilitator, energy worker and tarot and oracle card reader. My work lives at the intersection of beauty and healing. I help people reconnect to themselves—on the surface and far beneath it—so they can leave not only looking different but feeling more whole.

I’ve spent nearly two decades in the beauty industry, starting with makeup at MAC Cosmetics during its peak in 2009. My experience spans editorial and commercial work in San Diego, L.A., and New York City, including projects with brands like Amazon Prime and working at New York Fashion Week. I trained at Bellus Academy, receiving Sassoon-based education and completing a 1500-hour advanced course that included precision cut, color, advanced makeup theory, and styling.

While in school, I earned certifications in microlink hair extensions with DreamCatchers and studied editorial styling under multi-NAHA winner Sharon Blain. I graduated with honors, was at the top of my class, and served as head of the student council. From there, I deepened my education with the California Hair Extension Academy, mastering three extension methods including Malaysian pole weaving.

My first salon was an Aveda lifestyle space, where I specialized in color and trained in Toni & Guy techniques, adding advanced color knowledge through Aveda’s curriculum. In 2020, I became certified in Invisible Bead Extensions (IBE), and in 2022 I completed my master’s training and worked one-on-one with Rachel Nixon, founder of Everything Hand Tied, to refine my skills across mixed methodologies. I’ve also studied time-saving techniques and business strategy with Nicki Wildflower, including personal coaching.

Alongside my technical growth, I was always evolving internally. I’ve never wanted to stay the same—for myself or for my clients. That mindset drew me to holistic wellness. In December 2024, I completed my breath work training through Soma+IQ in Austin, Texas, the number one trauma-informed program rooted in neuroscience and the leading curriculum of its kind. I’m passionate about this work. I believe breath is medicine—and the body already knows what it needs when given space to release.

This journey has also led me to offer energy healing, tarot, and oracle readings—tools I offer as standalone sessions or integrated into appointments for those who feel called. Each hair appointment includes the option of a complimentary grounding practice or a neck and shoulder massage with aromatherapy. I also incorporate subtle energy work into my mini massages, and for deeper support, offer mini sessions at the shampoo bowl.

What I’ve learned from the chair—after years of conversation, witness, and intuition—is that people are yearning for more— a deeper connection to themselves and a facet to process and release built-up stress, tension, and trauma. A space to be held. A break from performing.

I’m especially passionate about creating space for men to unpack their emotions without shame, judgment or pressure—men who are ready for something more grounded, more real, and more genuine. I honor both the masculine and feminine paths to healing and growth.

My commitment is to create a calm, nourishing environment where beauty is honored as a sacred expression of your inner state. Your hair’s health and integrity will always come first. But just as important is how you feel in my space—supported, seen, and gently guided back to yourself.

Because beauty isn’t just about how you look.
It’s about how fully you’re able to come home to who you are.

Wherever you are on your path—be it seeking beauty, healing, or something you can’t yet name—know that you’re welcome here.

This is your space to soften, to be seen, and to come back to yourself.

All the light, love & gratitude,
xoxo
Jamie

What to expect

Please come a few minutes early to ensure you find the building the creative space is located in and to find parking. It’s no fun feeling rushed and stressed out for your appointment, where you’re hoping to relax!

There is a waiting area directly in the center where you can feel free to sit. I will come out and greet you, offer you a beverage, and snacks. We have both alcoholic beverages for those 21+ and non-alcoholic (flat/sparkling water, assortment of tea, coffee with flavoring options), and an abundance of snacks that we rotate.

Hair Services: You will have your service choice of receiving a complimentary neck and shoulder massage with aromatherapy or grounding meditation before beginning. We will then discuss your appointment and goals for the allotted time, and then we’ll get into the service!

Breath Work Sessions: You will be greeted with a warm welcome and gentle, calming music. You can set up your yoga mat anywhere there is free floor space, typically centered, facing away from the windows. Please bring a blanket or sweater if you tend to run cold.

2 hours prior no big meals. Light snacking is fine, but don’t eat a full meal.

1 hour prior, don’t drink large amounts of water. There’s nothing worse than having to go to the restroom than in the middle of a session!
